It was noon, when my father entered into the house and said, "They again called me (on phone) and are saying that only few seats are vacant"
I asked," The call from the college, but if they have few seats left, why they telling me, why don't they fill those seats, what's so special in me that they are waiting for me to fill that vacancy?"
"May be your educational profile would have attracted them, every college wants to have quality students, that's why they are waiting for you to get into their college", replied father.
While we were talking, the phone rang again, father said, "Its again the call from the college itself"
This time they said that only few days are left for the admission dates to be closed.
So finally I reached that college for the admission procedure and to take a look at the college.
At the first look i got shocked. "Is it a college?" I asked to myself.
It looked like a home, a single building with 3 rooms, and a canteen (that remains closed most of the time).
I entered into the office, and was offered a seat, and served chilled water.
I asked them about the total number of students in the college, as i was shocked at the small size of the college, that how much students can it accommodate?
but no satisfactory answer i got from them.
"sir, how many students have already taken admission in this course?" i asked about the course i was about to take admission in.
he replied, "only few seats are available" but did not tell the actual number of students.
"and placements?" i asked.
"100% placement*" he replied.
I told them that i need to talk to my parents about this and then i will tell you about my decision.
Still i was with fluctuating thoughts regarding the college, its genuineness
I got a group of students who were sitting on the stairs, i thought to ask them about this, as they would tell me the correct scenario of this college.
"Hello" i said in a friendly manner.
"hi" they replied.
"which year are you in?" i asked
"final year" they replied
Final year that means they would definitely guide me regarding the admissions.

Short and crisp, but true! I get calls from colleges based upon my MAT score, as they say but the truth of the matter is that I didn't even appear for MAT!!
